ADDIS ABABA -Ethiopia’s capital city, Addis Ababa, is set to join other modern African capitals, with their new 32km metro rail system – the Addis Ababa Light Rail Transportation.

This is set to benefit its commuters who are forced to endure long queues, waiting for public transport.

A   US$475 million metro line, is to be built in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa.

The project is being largely financed by a loan from China’s Exim Bank and will be built with the help of the China Railway Engineering Corporation.

The rail is expected to help the thousands of commuters who wait in long lines for public transport.
