Ahly try to find places for new signings by releasing out of action players
Algerian side Mouloudia Club Alger (MCA) have officially announced signing Ethiopian striker Saladin Said from Egypt’s Ahly, without disclosing the deal’s details.
The 25-year-old lanky frontman joined the Red Devils on a five-year deal last season from Wadi Degla.
Ahly are seeking to find places in the squad for the new foreign signings so they decided to offload Saladin Said.
The Cairo giants bolstered their attacking options by signing Ghanaian hitman John Antwi and Gabon striker Malick Evouna.
The Ethiopian star is currently in Algeria and he is expected to return to Egypt to finalise his transfer deal.
Said has scored 12 goals in 20 appearances with Ethiopia since making his international debut in 2005.
He started his career at Saint George in Ethiopia before moving to Wadi Degla in 2011. He also had a loan spell with Belgian side Lierse two years ago.
