T.R.I.B.E (Testing Realities Invariably Binding Everyone) exhibition will take place next month in east London
A British-born Nigerian will launch his new interactive art exhibition featuring Ethiopian tribes with an aim to test the realities of diversity.
T.R.I.B.E (Testing Realities Invariably Binding Everyone) is a photography, poetry and interactive art exhibition to be held at the Espacio Gallery in Bethnal Green, London from March 15-20.
Founded by Kay Adekunle Rufai, the exhibition will feature images of rarely photographed tribes from remote regions of southern Ethiopia with punctuating poems and videos from documentation with the tribes.
The T.R.I.B.E exhibition will also see the launch of the a poetry and photography book of the same title which contains more than 100 images and a back story that narrates Rufai’s experiences across Ethiopia.
“Art is the only language that is truly universal in connecting to a person’s soul, irrespective of their background, color, religion, ethnicity, culture, gender, ability and geographical confines.” the artist said.
